Road Trip 2015

These photos represent hours upon hours of road time. My amazing husband has been a professional artist for nearly 40 years. We had just gotten married and he was working on a commission at a Springfield, Missouri natural history museum. Consequently we spent a significant amount of time commuting back and forth between our home in Yucca Valley California and Springfield. For me, it was easier to fly out of Vegas rather than L.A. Mostly I enjoyed the peaceful drive through the desert to wind down from the flight. Occasionally we were fortunate to be able to make the commute together. It was during one of those times that I was able to take these photos. I got bored and started playing with my camera. I discovered that by adjusting the settings I could create some pretty interesting images. These photos are the result of that particular trip. With the exception of cropping, there is very little editing. Basically what you see is what I captured in those moments with my camera. There are some that I haven’t put up, like the ones where John has laser eyes. Those might require a little more editing.... ;)
